Using this website.
A few plain points about what this site is, and what it isn't.
General information, not clinical advice
The information on this website is general in nature and is intended to help you understand the kinds of support available and decide whether to get in touch. It is not counselling, therapy, diagnosis or personal advice, and it isn't a substitute for a proper conversation about your own situation.
No client relationship is formed by browsing
Reading this site or sending an enquiry does not by itself create a therapeutic or professional relationship. That begins only once we've spoken and agreed to work together, and the arrangements are explained to you at that point.
In an emergency
This website is not a crisis service and is not monitored around the clock. If you are in distress, or concerned for your safety or someone else's, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14 (24 hours) or 000 in an emergency.
Accuracy
I keep the information here as accurate and current as I reasonably can, but it may change over time. If anything is unclear or looks out of date, please get in touch and I'll happily clarify.
Links and images
Where this site links to other organisations, those sites are outside my control and I'm not responsible for their content. Some imagery is illustrative and chosen to set a calm tone; the portrait shown is of Dr Toussaint.
